About the Fan2Play Editorial Desk
Who publishes Fan2Play Editorial, how the editorial policy works, how corrections are handled, and the standards behind every page on the site.
Who we are
Fan2Play Editorial is an independent reading room for Indian fantasy cricket players. We are not the operator of the Fan2Play platform, we are not affiliated with the operator, and we do not host login forms or accept deposits on this domain. We are a small editorial team that publishes guides, scoring references, safety checks, and a corrections log.
What we publish
We publish four kinds of content.
- Editorial hubs. Long-form reading on a topic — the how to play page, the points system, the fantasy tips, the cricket hub, and the IPL 2026 hub.
- Money and support pages. Walk-throughs for the platform-specific flows — app, download, APK, login, bonus, referral, KYC, customer care, and the review.
- Trust and safety pages. The responsible play guide, the legality page, and the ownership page.
- Blog and analysis. Long-form reads on the captaincy method, the role-balance template, DLS rules, state eligibility, and the KYC troubleshooting table.
How we work
The editorial cycle is: research, write, review, publish, correct. Research is the read of the primary source — the operator's official site, the official broadcaster, the official board. Writing is the editorial framing — the captaincy method, the role-balance template, the points reference. Review is a second pass on the same page, with a focus on accuracy and the editorial checklist. Publication is the public release, with a date stamp. Correction is the post-publication review, triggered by reader feedback or by a change in the primary source.
How we label affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links that point to a verified first-party route. The first-party route is configured in the operator's terms; the editorial desk does not see the destination URL directly. Affiliate links are clearly labelled in the disclosure block at the top of the relevant page, in the disclosure block in the footer, and on the individual link with the rel attribute "sponsored nofollow noopener noreferrer". Editorial picks are independent of the affiliate relationship; the editorial desk would publish the same reads without the affiliate.
How we handle corrections
Corrections are published in three forms. Minor corrections (typos, broken links) are edited in place; the page's last-reviewed date is updated. Material corrections (a scoring change, a role-limit change, a new operator policy) are added as a "Correction" note at the bottom of the page, with the date and a brief description of the change. Substantive corrections (a fact that was wrong, a claim that was misleading) are added as a "Substantive correction" note, with a more detailed description, and the page is rewritten.
How we choose what to write
The editorial calendar is driven by the readers, not the editorial cycle. The most-read pages are reviewed and updated first; the least-read pages are deprioritised. The editorial desk does not publish "trending" pages or pages designed to chase search engines. The goal is to publish pages that are useful, accurate, and durable.
What we will not publish
We will not publish fabricated live data, made-up winners, fake testimonials, paid placement disguised as editorial, or pages that exist only to capture search traffic. We will not republish the official squad announcements, the live scores, or the live points tables. We will not run "guaranteed winning team" pieces or pages that imply that fantasy is an investment.
How to contact the editorial desk
The contact page lists the verified channels for reader feedback, corrections, and editorial tips. The most useful channel is email; the editorial desk responds to corrections and tips within 7 days. The desk does not respond to general customer-service questions about the operator's platform; those go to the operator's customer care.
